Our Approach
Engaged Generosity applies field-tested principles and practices that have a track record of success in philanthropy to your organization’s specific needs. We realize each institution has its own history, practices and cadre of mission staff, volunteers and donors that make it unique. We listen and learn about your specific needs and then advise.
We offer proven strategies to develop a trusting partnership with allies (trustees, volunteers, faculty members, physicians, nurses or other leaders directly delivering the mission). When allies are aligned with and trust gift officers, they support and complement one another in engaging and soliciting donors.
In partnership with those allies, gift officers develop intentional strategies to engage and align prospective benefactors to join the fight in advancing your mission. Gift officers become facilitators for deeply engaged philanthropists who want to change the world and partner with your organization to do it.
Our approach is not only strategic but tactical. We provide an overarching strategy but also help front line gift officers execute. Our model has proven to secure more visits with prospective benefactors, advance major proposals more purposefully, and to achieve significant growth in major, planned and principal giving.
Not only does our model result in more gifts, our “sticky messages” stewardship strategies share impact more completely and result in increased retention and repeat giving.
