Bethany Solomon, MBA
Senior Consultant
Bethany has been supporting development efforts for 24 years with deep experience in academic medicine. She has led community fundraising teams, built major and principal gift pipelines, and successfully closed gifts ranging from leadership annual giving through transformational eight-figure gifts. Bethany very much enjoys working with institutional leaders to develop and implement strategic priorities driving the launch and completion of capital and comprehensive campaigns.
She has deep experience working with internal and external partners to create programs and opportunities to drive meaningful engagement and increase overall fundraising. She has led community, peer-to-peer fundraising events, patient and family giving, developed and executed successful annual giving campaigns and stewardship initiatives. Relationship management is a major strength of Bethany’s. She has continuously managed a personal prospect pool, mentored fundraisers in the art and skill of closing a gift, and is a ninja at institutional network to find and qualify new prospects.
Bethany has led leadership boards and strategically restructured existing committees, volunteer groups and advisors to drive targeted engagement with a directed focus on philanthropy and impact.
Bethany is currently building a venture philanthropy program for the Geisel School of Medicine and the Dartmouth Health system in Northern New England. Prior to Dartmouth, Bethany served in leadership roles in biomedical advancement at Brown University and Yale University. She holds a BS from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from the University of New Haven. In addition to her development roles, Bethany also serves as an advisor to Ocean Biomedical and as a member of the Ledyard Charter School board of advisors.
